A recent Microsoft Windows desktop update has introduced issues that can prevent some workstations from successfully accessing RD Web–based services. According to Microsoft’s own reporting, the January security updates caused credential‑prompt and Remote Desktop sign‑in failures on affected Windows builds, impacting client devices rather than servers.
Our infrastructure, including apps.ontempworks.com, remains fully operational. However, because these Microsoft updates can disrupt Remote Desktop connectivity on individual machines, some users may experience difficulty launching applications until their Windows devices are patched with Microsoft’s out‑of‑band fixes.
We recommend reviewing and applying Microsoft’s official guidance and updates to restore normal workstation behavior. This ensures continued access to RD Web resources and prevents recurrence as Microsoft releases additional patches.
